One of the most interesting things has been the hostels that we've stayed in -- particularly the showers. Our first night in Mexico City, we had a pretty nice hostel, but the shower was amusingly small. Unlike the first night in Antigua, it was at least clean and working :) This shower also had a hole in the wall that opened to a shaft up to the street so that the steam can vent out.

You guys are having quite an adventure. I was going to tell you not to let the bed bugs bite, but that seems moot now. Oh, don't drink tap water... how's that.
